| Bio: | My name is Jenna and I'm in my mid-30s. I have lots of hobbies and interests (see below), but the most prominent ones in my life are music, reading, writing, stitching, and mead-making. At least for now. I started my life as a Navy brat, but my dad got out by the time I was 3 or so and we moved to the then-rural town of Cary, NC. I was raised a Wolfpacker and am still a dedicated fan to this day. My grandfather, who worked at NCSU, instilled in me a very respectable appreciation for football by the games we used to watch on New Year's day every year. My mom and dad helped this by taking me to the local high school games all the time. Of course, that was after we moved to New Jersey when I was 13. Yikes- the phrase "culture shock" is an understatement for that move, but I have to be thankful that we made it. I learned a lot being up there, about myself and the world around me. I also made some great friends that I wish I could find again. (Bad, bad Jenna for not writing!) I moved back to NC for college (was there ever any doubt where I would go? No!). I've met wonderful friends, though most of them would never have crossed my path without my first husband. So, if you ever doubted that bad things can have good effects, I'm here to say they can. In fact, I never would have found my wonderful husband an father of my children, Michael, without having first married husband number 1. I am addicted to metal music, in particular Poison and Bret Michaels, but love Skid Row, Aerosmith, and Bon Jovi as well. Let's just say if it was big in the 80s and there's big hair involved, I like it. Even more so if the hair is blonde. :) I love music of almost all kinds including metal, rock, country, jazz, classical and folk. I play folk music and metal on my many guitars at home, though I'm not that good. I'm also a songwriter, though I'm better at writing lyrics than music. I guess that makes me more of a poet. I married my husband on 02/02/02 and was blessed with a beautiful son on 10/04/04. We metour second son on August 30, 2006. I am now obsessed with my sons, though I still love other things as well.  | |
